
Rosemary specialises in Board level and senior leadership appointments for Central Government and Schools clients. Offering ten years of experience in the search industry, she works cross-sector at GatenbySanderson, enabling her clients to benefit from her cross-sector network and her insights across all four countries of the United Kingdom.
Within Central Government, Rosemary leads our work with the devolved governments of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; and with the governments of the Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories. She also specialises in niche and complex C-suite and Non-Executive director roles pan-UK.
Within Schools, Rosemary leads our work with UK independent schools and the national organisations that support them.
Rosemary chairs GatenbySanderson’s Diverse Abilities Affinity Group. Before joining GS, Rosemary was a Partner at Perrett Laver, where she led on senior leadership appointments for a range of independent schools, multi-academy trusts and national educational organisations. Before this, Rosemary worked for three years as Admissions Registrar at Caterham School, and for seven years at the Houses of Parliament. She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and The London School of Economics and Political Science. Rosemary has been a Trustee of Beyond Autism since 2021. Previously she was Vice-Chair of Folio Education Trust, which became part of Greenshaw Learning Trust in 2024.
