Rosemary Baylis-West

Rosemary specialises in Board level and senior leadership appointments for Central Government clients. Offering ten years of experience in the search industry, she specialises in appointments for the devolved governments of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; and for the governments of the Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories. She also specialises in the cross-cutting domains of skills and wider UK devolution. Rosemary chairs GatenbySanderson’s Diverse Abilities Affinity Group.

Before joining GS, Rosemary was a Partner in a specialist education and not-for-profit consultancy, where she led on senior leadership appointments for a range of education organisations. Before this, Rosemary worked for three years as Admissions Registrar at Caterham School, and for seven years at the Houses of Parliament.

She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and The London School of Economics and Political Science.

Rosemary is a Trustee of Beyond Autism. Previously she was Vice-Chair of Folio Education Trust.
