Motivated by a keen sense of social justice, Liz has spent 20 years working within the Not-for-Profit sector in senior leadership roles, primarily in fundraising, communications and grant making functions across heath, education and membership organisations. She started her career at Royal Mencap Society in London before moving to the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, Heriot-Watt University, the NSPCC, and Inspiring Scotland.
She has a deep understanding of business models and cultures, driven by hands on experience of working with a variety of Not-for-Profit structures. In 2020, Liz moved into the executive search space, helping to establish the “Development and Fundraising Practice” for a well-known executive search firm. During her tenure, she led and delivered several successful high-profile campaigns within fundraising and professional services and academia within higher education.
Liz has held numerous board and volunteering positions to date.

In her spare time Liz runs a small successful furniture restoration business as a wellbeing and passion project.
