We are delighted that Nancy Scott has been recognised as Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Champion in 2023 by the BAME Planners Network, in collaboration with the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Nancy, who is a Partner in our Local Government practice, has a passionate commitment to improving representation and inclusion in the workforce and mentors’ young people, particularly from under-represented communities. This award is in recognition of Nancy’s substantial and outstanding contributions to EDI for the planning profession.
The inaugural Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Recognition List 2023 and the Rhema Dapaah Award was unveiled at the BAME Planners Network End of Year Social on 7th December 2023. Nominations were open to planners working in the UK and Ireland, and a panel of judges diligently assessed the submissions.
