Nancy began her career in not-for-profit working on issues related to young people, social exclusion, and economic regeneration. Her HR and executive search career began at PwC, advising clients on HR change programmes and senior, interim, and non-executive recruitment in the public and private sector. With a drive for enterprise, she then partnered with former colleagues to set up a boutique executive search practice, where she was seconded for 16 months to the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA London 2012). As part of the start-up team, she helped to establish a dedicated HR function and undertook senior executive hiring for the organisation. More recently she has focused on capacity building and talent management.

She has over 20 years of recruitment experience with an impressive track record across a variety of disciplines including infrastructure, transport, international development, and professional services. More recently, she has focused upon talent management and widening participation in the workforce and advancing social mobility.  In addition, Nancy has a strong interest in technology and sport.

Nancy cares passionately about collaboration and the pro-active sharing of industry knowledge so all can benefit; she has advised clients on a range of corporate issues related to HR and talent management, with a particular focus on employer branding, performance management, coaching and diversifying the workforce.

Career Highlights
Nancy was recognised as Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Champion in 2023 by the BAME Planners Network, in collaboration with the Royal Town Planning Institute, as an individual who has made substantial or outstanding contributions to EDI for the planning profession.

In 2001, she was presented with an “individual award” from the European Federation of Black Women Business Owners, for her work in promoting equalities and diversity in recruitment, by the Mayor of London, Ken Livingston.

She has also spoken at events related to improving representation and inclusion in the workforce and mentors’ young people, particularly from under-represented communities.

Nancy is currently a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts (Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), supports Transitions, a social enterprise that supports refugees in London get internships and into full time jobs in the UK, and provides ad hoc pro bono HR advice and fundraising support to two African charities, EducAid, based in Sierra Leone, and Aspyre Africa, based in Senegal. She also supports Centrepoint, a UK national homelessness charity supporting young people to lead independent lives, and Leadership through Sport and Business, a social mobility charity.
