At Accent, we believe everyone should have a safe, secure and affordable place to call home. For almost 60 years, we have been helping people build better futures through the provision of quality housing and services across England. Today, we manage more than 21,000 homes, support around 40,000 residents, and remain committed to creating thriving communities where customers feel valued, heard and supported.

This is an exciting time to join Accent. With a strong financial platform, a V1 viability rating and significant investment ambitions, we are continuing to strengthen our services, invest in our homes and communities, and deliver long-term value for customers. Alongside this, we are embedding a culture built on accountability, collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement, ensuring colleagues are empowered to thrive and make a meaningful difference.

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Financial Resources to lead our Finance function and play a key role in supporting the organisation's next phase of development. You will provide leadership across financial reporting, treasury, business finance, procurement and financial planning, ensuring Accent remains financially resilient and well positioned to deliver its strategic ambitions. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will balance commercial judgement with social purpose, ensuring resources are deployed effectively to deliver the best outcomes for customers.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) with significant experience in a complex, regulated environment. You will bring expertise in financial reporting, treasury and financial management, alongside the credibility and confidence to engage effectively with boards, committees, auditors, lenders and regulators. Most importantly, you will be a collaborative and people-focused leader who enjoys developing others and creating an environment where teams can thrive.

Accent offers a highly flexible approach to work, a strong package of colleague benefits, and an inclusive culture centred on fairness, wellbeing and personal development. We are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments required throughout the recruitment process.
