Rachel, co-CEO of the British Medical Association and who shares the CEO role with Neeta Major, contributes to the development of UK BMA strategy and is responsible for setting the strategic direction for BMA Cymru Wales. Rachel started her professional career as a graduate trainee at the BMA and has worked in health policy for both the BMA and GMC for over 15 years, at a UK and Welsh level, influencing national governments and departments; securing legislative change, negotiating annual pay rises and delivering improved terms and conditions of service for doctors.
