Thank you to Janine La Rosa, Non-Executive Director at Citizens Advice and Chief People Officer with the NHS,who took time to speak to Sam Ellis, our Director of Strategy and Marketing, as part of our celebrations for International Women’s Day, a day we champion 365 days a year.
Janine is a Non-Executive for Citizens Advice and the Chief People Officer at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, spearheading a major culture transformation programme.
Prior to this, Janine held a key role in London’s Covid response, working to safeguard London’s 250,000 NHS staff and co-directing the Covid Legacy and Equity partnership, established jointly with NHS England London Region and UKHSA to close the equity gap in vaccine screening and access to good health. As Strategic Head of Equality and Inclusion for the NHS in London, Janine was instrumental in the development of the London Workforce Race Strategy and provided proactive leadership, expertise and direction for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) activity for London and beyond. Janine has led culture transformation programmes across large and complex public, private and third sector organisations.
