GatenbySanderson is delighted to announce that The Insight Programme has been shortlisted for Recruitment Services Provider of the Year at the HSJ Partnership Awards 2020, recognising our dedication to improving healthcare.
The judging panel comprised a diverse range of highly regarded figures across the NHS and wider healthcare sector. To be shortlisted as a finalist for these awards, despite tough competition, is a mark of real achievement for us. The Insight Programme has been selected based on its diligence, ambition and the positive impact that the project has had within the health care industry.
The Insight Programme is a development programme for aspirant Non-Executive Directors from under-represented groups. Developed and managed by GatenbySanderson, it has been delivered through partnerships with 34 NHS Trusts across England since 2017. Delivered over the course of a year, the programme includes shadowing, mentoring, and exposure to the ways in which different organisations in the NHS work. Throughout their time on the programme, participants gain an understanding of the complexity of large public sector Boards, increase their confidence and networks, and learn about the important role that Boards and NEDs play in shaping patient experience and service quality.
Ainslie Wilson-Shearer, Inclusion and Diversity Manager at GatenbySanderson said:
“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for Recruitment Services Provider of the Year, recognising the collaborative efforts and dedication of our teams to successfully implement the Insight Programme. We strongly believe that diverse Boards which represent the communities they serve deliver improved outcomes for patients, and to be chosen among the other incredible nominees is a wonderful achievement. This nomination has been a tremendous boost to both to our team and our many partners across the NHS and I am sure it will bolster our continued efforts to improve”
HSJ editor Alastair McLellan commented:
“We would like to congratulate GatenbySanderson on being nominated in the category of Recruitment Services Provider of the Year ahead of HSJ Partnership Awards 2020. We are looking forward to welcoming them to the ceremony in February, to join us in recognising the very best collaborations and innovations in the healthcare sector. This year’s finalists are of an outstanding calibre and all of them are exceptionally dedicated to enhancing healthcare across the UK.”
The winners will be selected following a rigorous, “live panel” judging stage ahead of the HSJ Partnership Awards 2020 awards ceremony. Held at the Park Plaza Westminster on the 27 February, the evening will provide a great opportunity for influential figures to unite and celebrate the achievements of their industry peers. The awards evening is expected to be attended by leaders and professionals from both the NHS and private sector as well as figures from non-clinical backgrounds to celebrate innovation and collaboration in healthcare. This year’s chosen charity partner is MediCinema a charity dedicated to improving the wellbeing of patients, their families and carers across the UK through the magic of the shared cinema experience.
