Chair Dr Linda Pollard on board dynamics and the critical role of partnership

Dr Linda Pollard is Chair of Leeds Teaching Hospitals – one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK, with over 18,000 staff, a budget in excess of £1 billion and responsible for the set-up and ongoing operation of Harrogate Nightingale Hospital.

Here, Linda gives an insightful interview with Health Practice Lead, Robin Staveley, covering the role of the Board in maintaining business as usual and the critical role that partnership working has played –  at Place, Sub Region, Regional and National Level – in providing an immediate, informed response to integrated care provision. She recognises the outstanding effort from all those contributing over the last 3 months and her optimism for the future in building upon the ‘art of the possible’.
