Group Director of Assets

Hyde Housing Association
GBP Up to £150,000

As one of the largest and top performing housing associations in the UK, Hyde Housing Association provides a range of services to over 50,000 households serving over 100,000 residents across various tenures – 75,000 tenants, 5,000 leaseholders, 6,500 shared owners and 16,000 in other forms of tenure.  Our vision and purpose is very clear to us; to provide more people with a roof over their head so that they can make a home.  We’re determined to succeed by building more than our share of the attainable homes London and the South East needs, by providing simple easy to use landlord services for all our customers, by proudly generating profit to reinvest in tackling the housing crisis and by working closely with passionate individuals and organisations who share our vision.  We are not complacent and we want to continually improve.

As we enter our 50th anniversary year we are proud of our rich history but importantly we are very excited and inspired about what the future holds.  We know what we want to achieve; to be recognised as one of the top 5 leaders in the housing sector and we have laid rock-solid foundations to achieve this.  This ambition is what drives us as an organisation and the transformation we are going through is substantial, it will not only reshape us as a business it will help us meet our changing customer expectations.

We are looking to attract a new Group Director of Assets to join our senior team.  You will be joining an excellent team committed to maximising our impact whilst creating a high performing and business minded culture.  This is a key role so as well as displaying considerable leadership credentials you will bring substantial strategic asset management capability, with the ability to leverage value from our significant asset base.  You will be responsible for continuing to transform what is a significant part of our business and enable us to create the wealth to invest in our ambitious development plans.

We want do-ers, proactive responsibility takers who make it easy for others to take action.  We want professional people, people who aspire to be part of a brilliantly run social business who are not afraid to take tough decisions and who are keen to always to what needs to be done.  We want ambitious people, those who see no limits to what we and individuals can achieve and to what others can do for themselves.  And we want people who are open to dealing with the real issue, to new ways of solving problems, to other points of view and to best practice from others.  At Hyde we see a future where everybody works together towards social prosperity.  It’s a future that promises to create a great home for everyone.
