The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) is the professional body for GPs across the UK and the largest medical royal college with over 55,000 members. At a time of significant change across health and care, the College continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of general practice, advocating for the profession and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. As the organisation looks ahead, it is seeking an Executive Director of Corporate Services to help strengthen the foundations that enable its work and support the delivery of its strategic ambitions.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and serving as a member of the Executive Management Team, the Executive Director of Digital and Major Projects will lead the College's Digital, Data & Technology and Property & Facilities functions. This is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for driving the College's digital transformation agenda, overseeing the delivery of major organisational projects and ensuring technology, data and infrastructure support the organisation's strategic ambitions. The postholder will lead the delivery of the College's Digital Roadmap, oversee its portfolio of major projects, and play a pivotal role in one of the most significant programmes in the organisation's recent history: the sale of 30 Euston Square and transition to a new headquarters.

We are seeking an accomplished executive with substantial experience leading large-scale digital, technology and organisational transformation in a complex environment. You will bring a proven track record of delivering major change programmes, translating strategic ambition into practical outcomes, and using technology as an enabler of wider organisational transformation. The successful candidate will be a visible and collaborative leader, capable of building trust and credibility with a wide range of stakeholders, while developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams. Experience of overseeing significant project portfolios, managing strategic supplier relationships and driving innovation through modern technologies, data and digital platforms will be essential, together with the resilience, judgement and leadership skills required to deliver change at scale.
