South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking two outstanding individuals to join its Board as Non-Executive Directors at a pivotal moment in the organisation’s development. This is a rare opportunity to influence the future of a leading NHS provider that serves 1.2 million people across Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth, delivering vital mental health services to more than 20,000 individuals at any one time.

The Trust are now seeking an Associate Non‑Executive Director who will bring deep expertise in Digital, Data and Technology, particularly Digital Transformation and AI background, alongside substantial healthcare leadership experience at Board or senior‑executive level. As an Associate Non-Executive Director role, this could be a developmental role for someone who has not yet gained board experience, and the Trust would be particularly keen to hear from individuals from under-represented groups and welcomes diverse perspectives that will enrich Board discussions and decision-making.

Successful candidates will bring sound judgement, strategic thinking and the confidence to challenge constructively while building strong relationships. A genuine commitment to tackling health inequalities, promoting inclusion and advancing compassionate leadership is essential.
