The CSA Catapult exists to accelerate the UK’s position as a global leader in the development and commercialisation of compound semiconductor technologies. Backed by Innovate UK, the organisation works at the forefront of innovation; bridging industry and academia to bring next‑generation semiconductor applications to market. Through world‑class facilities, specialist technical expertise, and a collaborative, inclusive culture, CSA Catapult helps organisations across sectors such as clean energy, transportation, digital communications, defence, and space to overcome barriers and realise transformative technologies that boost UK productivity and competitiveness.

This is a pivotal senior leadership role, responsible for setting the commercial direction of the organisation and driving top‑line revenue growth. As VP Sales & Product Marketing, you will develop and lead high‑performing sales and product marketing teams, ensuring a strong, qualified pipeline that aligns with CSA Catapult’s strategic plans. You will shape a balanced commercial and collaborative R&D portfolio, define and evolve the organisation’s value proposition, and act as its commercial ambassador in the UK and internationally. Working closely with technical and operational colleagues, you will help translate cutting‑edge research into products and services with global impact, while influencing five‑year planning and organisational strategy at Board level.

You will be an inspirational and strategic commercial leader with a proven track record in OEM sales, business development or product marketing within relevant semiconductor or advanced technology markets. You will bring experience building and leading high‑performing teams, establishing effective commercial pipelines, and shaping long‑term commercial strategies. Highly collaborative and resilient, you communicate with impact, engage diverse stakeholders, and perform confidently under pressure. Your leadership style is transparent, professional and inclusive, and you are comfortable creating new processes, evolving ways of working, and operating at pace in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.

This is a great opportunity to join us at an exciting time for both the organisation and the sector and we encourage you to contact our partners at GatenbySanderson for a confidential conversation about the role.
