Junior Moka, Trustee at The Hyde Charitable Trust, talks about how he chose his career path, the importance of networking and how the support of mentors were key in influencing his development. Within his role at NHS Property Services, members of the Board see him as being a “poster child” for ethnicity at a senior position in the business. He sees this as a positive opportunity for him to demonstrate to others how he has progressed to a senior position within the organisation, with the support and opportunities he has received, so junior members realise they can access those opportunities and progress to senior positions too.
