The Women on Boards bursary programme

Women on Boards want to make sure that the only barrier to the boardroom is talent, and we strongly agree. Their bursary programme is designed for women with high board potential who may not otherwise be able to afford support.

The inaugural 2019 bursary programme received a tremendous response and competition was extremely high, with over 120 applications for just 4 places.

Jody Goldsworthy and Chris Bernard, from GatenbySanderson, supported the process, using their expertise and knowledge from their leadership development and executive recruitment backgrounds, to analyse the shortlisted applicants and help inform the final decision.

Jody said; “It was a privilege to be involved. Congratulations to all shortlisted candidates and particularly to the four awardees – applications were of an extremely high calibre.”
