Rochdale Boroughwide Housing Limited (RBH) is the UK’s first customer and colleague co-owned mutual housing society, with over 12,000 homes throughout the local area. We have been working with our customers and colleagues to review and modernise the values that motivate us and underpin everything we do as we continue our journey of change and improvement. Our mutuality is focused on bringing genuine voice and influence to our customers and our colleagues in how we deliver our services.

As our new Executive Director of Corporate Services, this is a career-enhancing opportunity to provide strategic leadership across six enabling functions that underpin and drive business performance: Governance, Regulatory Compliance and Risk; Data & Insight; Information Technology; People & Culture; Communications; and Business Improvement.

A key member of our four‑strong Executive Team, you will ensure that corporate services deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused support across RBH. You will pro-actively drive organisational effectiveness, ensure strong governance and assurance, and champion change and continuous improvement. This role is pivotal to supporting RBH and our customers, embedding strong performance, and enabling colleagues to thrive.

Established at Director or already working at Executive Director level, you’ll be an inspiring strategic leader with expertise that, most likely, spans more than one of our corporate service functions. Your career will have advanced within a regulated environment that has undergone substantial change and transformation whilst ensuring customers remain the top priority. As someone who can readily build trusted, productive relationships with varied internal and external stakeholders, you’ll also offer financial acumen, a strong track record of achieving results, and the ability to lead from the front with integrity, courage, and purpose.

RBH is deeply rooted in Rochdale’s diverse and vibrant communities. If you share our values and want to help us create places where everyone feels empowered, valued, and respected, we’d love to hear from you.
