We were delighted to recently follow up with Lolade Onabolu, who was appointed as Senior Programme Director at the Home Office in February last year.
She talks us through her career from mechanical engineer, where her early ambition was (and probably still is!) to design an internal combustion engine through to a consulting career with Anderson Consulting (now Accenture) and PwC as well as an MBA at London Business School. She shares her current focus upon developing long term capability balanced against delivery priorities as well as insight into how she has met the challenge of succeeding in a senior technical role where women and ethnic diversity are particularly under-represented.
