Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust and Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust are seeking an exceptional individual as a Joint Chair.  This is a rare opportunity to influence the strategic direction of two ambitious organisations at a pivotal time for integrated care, making a lasting difference to the lives of people living in Kent, Medway and the surrounding areas.

As Chair, you will provide visible and values-driven leadership, setting the tone for collaboration and innovation across two distinct organisations and the wider health system. You will champion quality, safety and inclusion, ensuring services meet the needs of diverse communities. You will navigate complex challenges such as integrated care models, digital transformation, workforce development and financial sustainability, while fostering a culture of compassion and continuous improvement.

We are looking for an influential and inspiring leader who can bring clarity, confidence and ambition to this pivotal role. You will have significant board-level experience and a track record of steering complex organisations through transformation. Strategic vision, strong financial and governance acumen, and the ability to unite diverse stakeholders behind a common purpose are essential.

Above all, you will be driven by a passion for improving health outcomes, reducing inequalities and creating inclusive, compassionate cultures that empower staff and communities alike.
