You will provide strategic leadership and direction on the transformation of services provided to citizens across Cardiff, driving the delivery of the Council’s Change Programme in response to pressing demand and financial pressures. You will also play a key role in working with Cabinet Members and Councillors to ensure the implementation of the Council’s Stronger, Fairer, Greener commitments that underpin our Corporate Plan.

The role requires an individual who is experienced in delivering partnership working across the public sector as well as strategic and transformational change in public service delivery, which ensures the effective and efficient implementation of the Council’s strategic choices and achieves continually improving outcomes in the lives of people within Cardiff.
