We are seeking an inspirational new Chair to lead our Board at this exciting and challenging time for our Trust and the NHS. As Chair, you will champion our ethos of Working the Chesterfield Way, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture within our board and guiding our future direction.  Our Chair will lead our board and Council of Governors to ensure we continue to deliver high quality, safe, and equitable care. You will play a critical role in gaining assurance, lifting ambition, encouraging system-wide collaboration, and ensuring we are maximising opportunities to embrace digital innovation, promote neighbourhood working, and further focus on the prevention agenda. 

We are seeking an exceptional leader with vision, influence, and a deep commitment to our populations, colleagues, and organisation. With successful and significant board level leadership and governance experience in complex, regulated, and person-centred organisations, you will be a visible and approachable leader with the credibility to engage a wide range of stakeholders, and inspire and guide our Board and Council of Governors. Your public service values, strategic vision, strong understanding of effective governance, and ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups will support your success in this high-profile role.
