We are delighted to welcome Dr Melanie West, who recently joined our executive search health team as a Senior Consultant. Melanie adds another 15 years of senior level recruitment experience to the already established national team, in addition to the recent announcement of a designated interim leadership resource provided by Eleanor Pugh.
Dr Melanie West is a specialist health and life sciences senior executive leadership consultant. She trained as a midwife, followed by an academic career at UCL, and most recently 15 years’ experience in senior level executive search in life sciences and healthcare. This leaves Melanie uniquely placed to offer insights across all senior leadership functions in these sectors, both public and commercial.
Having most recently worked within the NHS Leadership Academy supporting board appointments, national level talent management and leadership development activity in the NHS, Melanie has a significant level of direct NHS knowledge, networks and credibility with key executives.
