GS Supports Mental Health Awareness Week

Ainslie is GatenbySanderson’s Inclusion & Diversity Manager and here brings us up to date on some of the activity planned to support positive mental health.

As part of our continued focus on wellbeing, we are using Mental Health Awareness to run a full programme of activities online.

Our programme covers everything from Tai Chi and meditation, to sessions that look at coping strategies in times of extreme stress. We’ll also be taking some time to celebrate and reflect on the acts of kindness we have seen in our communities, at home and at work, and forward plan as to how we can embed increased kindness in our own new normal.

We are thrilled to (virtually) welcome CALM Ambassador and Ultra Runner, Ben Davis, to speak to us about the links between mental and physical wellbeing. And Chris O’Sullivan from the Mental Health Foundation will be joining us to talk about the topic of the week – kindness.

We are also delighted to announce that we have extended our Charity of the Year partnership with the Mental Health Foundation to 4th October 2020 in order to continue our support of their vital work right now.

Mental health and wellbeing has long been important to GatenbySanderson. We know that when we looking after and support each other, we can better deliver our absolute best for our clients and candidates. This is more important now than ever.
