Role detail and responsibilities:
Car Parking Steward
Primary Responsibilities:
- Verify pre-booked parking tickets upon arrival.
- Direct traffic flow to ensure safe and efficient vehicle movement.
- Allocate parking spaces based on availability and event logistics.
- Provide attendees with accurate information and guidance regarding parking arrangements.
Registration Assistant
Primary Responsibilities:
- Check and validate participant tickets at the registration point.
- Assist with participant queries by accessing and verifying registration data.
- Advise attendees on registration protocols and required documentation.
- Provide clear guidance on event start and finish procedures.
- Offer general information about the event and PSC services.
Start/Finish & Event Support Officer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Guide participants to designated holding areas prior to the start.
- Ensure participants are grouped correctly according to their registration.
- Direct participants to the start line in a timely and orderly manner.
- Provide support with tracking and scanning procedures.
- Assist the Event Coordinator throughout the day (may include driving responsibilities).
- Deliver general event and PSC-related information to participants.
Checkpoint Support Volunteer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist participants with tracking and scanning at checkpoints.
- Monitor and report on participant welfare and well-being.
- Communicate updates to event control as necessary.
- Distribute refreshments, including food and water, to participants.
- Share route-specific and general event information as needed.
Route Marshal
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct participants along the designated event routes.
- Alert participants to any traffic or safety risks.
- Provide route guidance and respond to participant queries.
- Share general information about the event and PSC.
Route Marking Team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install route markers the day prior to the event.
- Remove or adjust markers as needed during the event.
- Conduct a final sweep post-event to ensure all participants have cleared the route.
- Provide route and event information to participants and team members.
