Rebecca plays a pivotal role within GatenbySanderson’s Sport Practice, drawing on her experience in executive recruitment and organisational development to deliver strong outcomes for clients across the sector. With a foundation in local government, she brings a nuanced understanding of public service leadership and governance to her work in sport, ensuring appointments reflect both strategic priorities and organisational values. Her specialisms in HR, organisational development and executive search provide a strong insight into client needs and the expectations placed on senior leaders.

Rebecca focuses on identifying and securing candidates who strengthen leadership teams and contribute meaningfully to the future of sport in the UK. She is an active member of the Women’s Sport Collective and a mentor on the OnBoard programme, supporting the development of future female board talent and championing more inclusive leadership across the sector.
