Thank you to Hannah Robinson, Academic Registrar, Birmingham City University, who took time to speak to Sam Ellis, our Director of Strategy and Marketing, as part of our celebrations for International Women’s Day, a day we champion 365 days a year.
Hannah talks about the positive influences on her career, particularly people, be those mentors or her broader academic network. She also talks bout how her own personal development was accelerated by picking up on opportunities to do something new. Hannah’s ambition is now firmly set on the students of BCU, ensuring that services are arranged to open doors and change lives.
Hannah has a career in academia moving from teaching to professional services leadership roles within Higher Education, retaining her emphasis upon educational standards throughout. As Academic Registrar of BCU, Hannah is at the heart of education and research endeavour for the university.
