Leadership Insights for Central Government

During 2020, a year full of challenges for UK and world leaders and governments, ministerial plans and decisions were put on hold, as no-one was spared from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, almost 18 months since the start of the pandemic, individual citizens and businesses are looking for their government leaders to help them create a better future, informed by the lessons of last year.

In our work across central government, we have been listening to senior leaders who have been discussing the key challenges that they feel they are facing within their departments. We have noted their points and using Altitude, our unique leadership model, have identified the critical leadership behaviours and capabilities required of leaders to deliver on these challenges.

Our findings are included in our latest report “Leadership Insights for the Central Government sector” which can be accessed here.

We have extensive experience supporting organisations and individuals to understand their leadership capability and developing their top teams to be future ready. If you’d like to discuss any of the findings in our report and how we can support you and your leadership challenges, please contact simon.clements@www.gatenbysanderson.com.
