Our commitment and approach to diversity and inclusion has evolved in recent years, and we are pleased to be partnered with the expert in workplace inclusion. As our own approach to D&I has become more sophisticated, it has become increasingly important to us to ensure that we have an external partner who will be able to advise and guide our approach, and constructively challenge the decisions we are making.
Diversity and inclusion is a crucial part of the way we work at GatenbySanderson, the driving force behind ensuring that our own people are representative and that our culture allows everyone to be themselves at work. We are also deeply aware of the role we play in guiding and advising organisations across the public sector on people matters, whether that is building top teams at executive and non-executive level or developing inclusive leaders.
Our membership will also give us access to a library of resources and development opportunities built from years of experience, as well as put us in direct contact with Inclusive Employers’ members across the UK so that we can share best practice and continue to learn from other organisations’ commitment to building more diverse and inclusive organisations.
We are deeply committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of background is able to progress to the most senior levels across the public sector (and in our own organisation) and to building inclusive workplace cultures. We are proud of our journey to date and feel we have given ourselves a solid base from which to build, but remain profoundly aware of the amount of work we still have to do.
