NWAAC is a dynamic organisation undergoing significant and positive change. Based in the heart of the country and providing a service across Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria, we have a close partnership with the local land ambulance service and have recently made a step-change improvement to the clinical service we provide to our patients. Serving our region’s major conurbations, as well as those patients in much less accessible locations, we want to deliver the best possible care to our patients.

With the potential to become the nation’s leading air ambulance, we are now looking for an outstanding Operations Director to join us in a newly created role. We need someone with the passion, capability and independence to work successfully with our clinical and aviation team members as well as our strategic partners, particularly the local land ambulance trust and our aviation partner, to drive home the current success and deliver the next step-change improvements to patient care.

This is a highly influential role working closely with our Medical Director and deputising for the Chief Executive when required.  You will lead and shape our operations to ensure the safe and effective use of our aviation and clinical resources, delivering an outstanding and vital service across the region. By ensuring that patients are at the heart of everything we do, you will utilise your clinical knowledge, inspire the operational teams and continually drive improvement across every aspect of our service.
