Interim Assistant Director of Organisational Development – NHS Provider Organisation, Circa £500+ a day inside IR35 – Initial 6 Months– Full Time/Part Time – Hybrid Working (adhoc travel to site in the North of England)

We are seeking an Interim Assistant Director of Organisational Development for our client, an NHS Trust in the North of England. The role is looking to start as soon as possible, no later than early March. The assignment will be initially for 6 months, possibly longer depending on how the substantive recruitment progresses. The role can be conducted remotely in the main, with occasional on-site presence required. Given the scope of the role's remit, this position will preferably be conducted on a full time basis although a four day week is a possibility for the right candidate. The role is at an 8C/8D level, inside IR35 on a day rate.

The Job Role – This position will have a considerable focus around organisational culture change. The successful post-holder would be responsible for managing and supporting Change Programmes, working with Service Improvement teams for the service, as well as developing the Trust’s People Strategy Programme. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for introducing a Belonging and Inclusion programme, orientating focus on Learning and Reflection and embedding Trust Values and Behaviours across all Trust Systems and Processes.

The Person – Our client is looking for someone who has gained significant OD and Cultural Change experience in a similar position. Ideally, candidates will have NHS experience, although our client is open to exploring backgrounds from the wider public sector, such as Local Authorities. The successful postholder should have good interpersonal skills, experience of large-scale change and be confident in building relationships and engaging with people.
