Interim Director of Engagement – National Health Organisation - start ASAP – 6 months + FTC – £90,000-£113,000 salary + excellent benefits and pension - Inside IR35

We are seeking an Interim Director of Engagement for our client, a National Health Organisation. Ideally, suitable candidates will be able to start work by December and undertake the Interim role for 6 months or longer (as they will be recruiting to the permanent role in the new year, there could also be the opportunity to go permanent if this was of interest to all parties).

The Job Role - This role will include but not be limited to:

  • Enhancing and implementing the organisations 3 product lines they offer
  • Bringing together core parts of the organisation and articulating the product-facing aspect of the organisation to an external audience.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders including life science, healthcare, government and social care organisations
  • Contributing towards an improved level of service delivered by our client to a multitude of healthcare-orientated sectors. NB (There is a team of band 8d/9 professionals in place who would also be supporting you in this position).

The Person – Our client is ideally looking for candidates who have:

  • Undertaken a similar role within the life sciences, health and social care, arm’s length bodies or central government sectors
  • Experience of developing, implementing and managing an engagement strategy for complex, multi-faceted stakeholders
  • Influenced senior public sector and commercial leaders in organisations similar to our client
  • Experienced in defining, shaping and implementing a strategy or operating model through effective engagement with stakeholders which has resulted in directly impacting an organisations objectives

Terms and Conditions

This role is graded at a ESM level, and it will sit inside IR35. The salary banding is £90-113k plus an excellent benefits package. Our client is looking for someone to undertake the role full time and you would be required to be on-site 1 to 2 days a week and remote working the rest of the week.
