We are looking for a Business Partner who not only has some experience with SRM implementation but also to deliver best practise commercial services and solutions that support continuous improvement - promoting innovation and raising the teams profile as an agent for change to the benefit of organisation as a whole.  this will mean acting as the procurement primary point of contact, partnering senior leaders within the assigned business area –  ensuring they are receiving effective strategic procurement support and proactive advise spanning the complete lifecycle in all business decisions and future commercial outlook.  This will specifically require the successful candidate to lead on and implement continuous improvement initiatives and government policy updates. Examples of some of the initiatives we want to deliver in the next six months include but are not limited to:

 

 

  • Review of procurement toolkit (internal/external facing)
  • Review of suite of Terms & Conditions with internal legal team
  • Drafting and implementing a supplier resilience process
  • Drafting and implementing the Modern Slavery policy
  • Drafting and implementing the Equality and Diversity policy
  • Drafting and implementing the Financial and Pensions Vetting policy

This role is a 6 month FTC with a possibility of going permanent.  The salary will be £50,000 pro rata for the duration of the contract.
