We are currently working with an NHS Provider who are looking for a HR professional with experience of reviewing policies in the NHS to undertake an Interim Contract for them.  This role will start on or before the 22nd March and the likely duration is 3-4 months.  Our client will also consider candidates looking for part time or full-time work (3-5 days per week), so long as the work gets completed.

The Job Role

As many of our clients’ HR Policies are out of date, they now need someone with solid HR background as well as NHS experience (which is essential) to come in as a policy expert and undertake the following:

  • Strip out irrelevant policies and streamline existing policies
  • Review the existing policies and check that they align not only to the Trust People Strategy, but also to the Governance the Trust has in place
  • Implement new policies where needed – they would like someone who is innovative and can come up with new ideas around policies

The Person - Interested candidates will need to experience of working within HR at a senior level and more specifically, it is essential that applicants have experience of reviewing, writing, updating and creating HR Policies within the NHS.
