We are working with a London Borough who are seeking an experienced Strategic Programme Director to support the Affordable Homes programme on a temporary basis 3-4 days per week. The Affordable Housing project is a vital component to deliver the Council’s strategic ambition to deliver 1000 affordable homes in the next 3 years; 600 of which will be new Council homes. They are currently in both development and delivery stage. The ideal candidate will have experience within the Housing Construction and Regeneration field. This is an exciting opportunity to implement change and leave a lasting legacy within a public sector organisation. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Facilitate the continued development of the Strategic Housing Delivery Programme
- Align the current Regeneration Programme
- Ability to monitor and manage project resource
- Design governance processes that are practical and user friendly
