We are working with an NHS Provider who are currently looking for an Interim Assistant Director for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for around 6 months. This role is a new position in the organisation structure and the Interim will support the Director of People and Inclusion whilst the Trust seek to appoint someone to this role on a permanent basis.
Key deliverables for this role will include:
- Leading on the Cultural Intelligence roll out
- Initiating a review of the ED&I Strategy
- Create a plan of engagement for the next years diversity calendar
- Be involved in the roll out of development programmes across the Inclusion piece
- Engage and work system wide with the Trusts networks
The Person - Our client is looking for someone with a HR background as well as specialist knowledge and experience in ED&I . Additionally they would ideally like someone who has experience of working with and for the NHS (even if that has been a short term assignment at some point).
Hours and Location - Ideally you will be able to start within the next month on a full or part time basis, minimum 3 days per week. Our client is flexible on location and very open to those wanting to work remotely for the most part.
Budget/Salary – Our client has confirmed that this role could sit outside of IR35 but this is to be confirmed. In terms of payment, they are willing to consider a Fixed Term Contract, day rate on the bank or day rate via ourselves so that they can secure the right candidate for the role. Day rate is flexible depending on the skills and experience of the candidate and we can discuss this further with interested parties.
