A University based in the South West are looking to appoint an interim Registrar of Academic Services for a period of 4-6 months whilst they recruit the permanent post holder.

The interim will be responsible for the day to day running of the registration team and student services, which has recently had a professional services review. The interim will need to quickly become familiar with the implementation of recommendations, and will be responsible for re-integrating the administration function into the role. 

We are looking for an individual who is empathetic with the student services function and is good leader who can build respect quickly, whilst balancing the academic vs administration needs.

Due to the COVID situation they are expecting to receive some complaints, (nothing of note currently) therefore the interim will need to have the correct processes in place and have an understanding of the nature of the complaints that may arise.

Home working in line with government guidelines but visits to the site where possible would be appreciated. This role will be inside IR35 with a start date as soon as possible. If you, or any of your networks are interested in this role, do get in touch.
