Interim Deputy Director of Workforce and HR – Central England (with some home working included) – 12-month contract – to start by Sept 2020

We are seeking an Interim Senior HR Generalist on behalf of our Client, an Acute NHS Provider in Central England who are currently looking a Deputy HR Director to start work with them as soon as possible on a 12 month contract (there is a potential option for permanency if both parties were interested in this further down the line).   Our client appreciate that some candidates will be looking for a day rate and some will consider a Fixed Term or Bank arrangement with them, so they are considering all options which we will discuss with interested parties. 

The Job Role – This role will involve (but not be limited to) supporting the HR Director at the Trust in designing and delivering the HR Strategy and it will also involve line managing the HR Business Partner Team and taking overall responsibility for Employee Relations at the Trust.  The role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders from within the organisation on a regular basis and acting up for the HR Director when they are on leave etc.  

The Person – The ideal candidate for this role will have solid, proven experience as a Deputy Director within HR.  Additionally, our client is ideally looking for someone who has worked in the NHS previously and better still, have experience of working for an Acute Provider.  A CIPD qualification would be desirable but not essential.  Interested parties should also possess strong people management experience, be an adept communicator and possess excellent leadership skills.  

Interviews - will take place on the 6th of August 2020 most likely via Microsoft Teams.
