Interim Programme Consultant – Cancer Services – South Wales – 6 months – to start July 2020 – Band 8D pay rate (approximately £400 a day)
GatenbySanderson are currently working with a health board in South Wales in their search for an Interim Programme Consultant with specific experience within operational cancer pathway management.
This role will report into the organisations Director of Cancer Services and support the organisation in the design, development and implementation of a Radiotherapy Services programme plan, support their governance structure and develop their performance framework. Additionally, the interim consultant will also be required to demonstrate delivery of rapid service progression across a multifaceted department structure, whilst developing service level delivery metrics, and determining a clear critical path.

- Strong strategic and operational transformation and programme management experience and understanding
- Solid, proven work experience of operational cancer pathway management experience
- Comprehensive understanding of the single cancer pathway and its future implications
- Strong leadership experience and understanding of acute and tertiary service interface
- Senior level experience and understanding of performance management
- Proven track record of clinical and professional relationship management
