We are seeking a success Project manager is required to lead a high-profile refurbishment project on a block owned by a Council with staff in situ, and residents living above.  The project needs to be delivered within the agreed budget and delivered in a phased way to meet agreed timescales for more staff to move into the building while accommodating existing staff and minimising lengthy disruption to the residents who live above.The project needs a lead who is experienced in working on both residential and non-residential refurbishment, has expertise in delivering projects on time and within budget and can evidence this in their application.

You will need to be able to communicate to a variety of different audiences, demonstrate how they can engage with staff and residents, and also get buy in from all stakeholders to work together on delivering this project.  Experience in both Facilities Management and workplace management are essential to enable them to lead in these areas working together with the client team in a seamless manner.  Experience in budget management including developing solutions to meet project criteria while value engineering the budget are essential along with effective risk mitigation strategies and a priority focus on all health and safety and compliance matters.  The ability to work in a high-pressure environment and effectively project manage in a logical and ordered fashion while continuing to deliver is critical, as is an ability to work closely with a range of people and personalities.

This position is for 12 months and the day rate is £750 per day.
