Working for the this regional transport body, your role will be to led some of the organisations most significant and high-profile investment activities, including the Integrated & Smart Travel Programme. Developing as a visionary leader and commercial ambassador for the organisation, the successful candidate will act as the intelligent client for all elements of the output across the IST programme.  You will lead in the delivery of the ticketing, payment and technology scheme operating models across the north of England, maximising benefits realisation through ensuring effective programme and commercial management and timely delivery of all IST deliverables in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.

The successful candidate will cultivate gravitas to engage with people at all levels, nurture relationships and scrutinise and control the commercial management of the programme.  Strong commercial acumen and relationship management will be key levers required to deliver exceptional standards of excellence, effective governance, and risk management.  If designed in an appropriate manner, such technologies can be leveraged to achieve key policy objectives such as economic growth and resilience of the transport network, helping improving performance and staying ahead of the curve. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a compelling track record of delivering successful commercial and integrated smart technology projects linked to a heightened passion to support economic growth through change and connectivity.  They will possess exceptional communication skills able to help our stakeholders, partners and communities relate to and support the organisations vision.

The role will be on day rate basis inside IR35.
