Director of Strategy and Change
A London Borough need an Interim Director who has led Strategy and Change within their portfolio. They are looking for someone who ideally has local government, central government or senior think tank experience. The initial term is for three months, and the brief is to design and pilot a new strategy service for the Council. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Be lead adviser to Management Board and Cabinet on all matters within the following functions: change agency, project management office, strategy, policy, insight and service design, and business intelligence.
- Provide interim leadership for our HR function up to mid-November when our Director of Employee Experience starts in post.
- Ensure successful implementation of recommendations from recent reviews on Health and Safety, Business Intelligence and the Council’s operating model
- Maintain and, where necessary, establish professional standards within the service, ensuring that the approaches and systems are modern and fit for purpose.
This role will be inside IR35 and day rate will be dependent on experience.
