Head of HR Operations
A Not for Profit organisation are seeking a Head of HR Operations to provide effective senior leadership for the delivery of the HR transactional services to a consistently high standard in a large and complex environment, ensuring delivery of all relevant areas of the People Directorate’s business goals and strategy. This role provides specialist knowledge to a sizeable team and involves the leadership and management of distinct areas of expertise. You will lead the design and ensure delivery of high quality, consistent end to end HR transactional services including new starter administration, employment variations and payroll, ensuring that working practices, policies, procedures and processes reflect best practice and represent the most efficient and effective means of operation. Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Significant track record of developing, transitioning and managing teams, including external contractors, within a centralised HR or Shared Service function.
- Experience of having lead accountability for identifying issues, developing solutions and delivering in a way which provides high level of customer service to an organisation. Experience of developing associated strategies, policies, procedures or convening and leading project teams to do so.
- Demonstrable success in developing and implementing effective working processes and strategies to include effective leadership and development of teams.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant professional issues, regulatory framework and/or legislation
This is a permanent role and will suite someone who has worked in a NfP environment. The annual salary will be between £51-55k and the closing date will be 10am Friday 23rd August.
