North London Borough Regeneration Manager (Maternity Cover, 12 months, immediate start)

A North London borough Council require immediate cover for the role of Regeneration Manager, to help support and deliver on a number of pre-existing regeneration programmes.

The Regeneration Team are a diverse, forward thinking and high performing team within the council, who have strong partnerships with The Mayor of London and Transport for London.

The team have secured a substantial amount of funding from both private and public sources to deliver on several projects over the coming years, this includes supporting the construction phase of development of new homes and jobs. This piece of work will sit alongside the delivery of capital projects focused on parks and open spaces, workspace, public realm and community infrastructure, all contributing to the development of a new district centre and 21st Century neighbourhood of choice.

The post holder will have strong problem solving and negotiation skills; steering the development of the area over the course of their post. They will be experienced in delivering a range of regeneration projects and programmes and have the ability to multi-task whilst managing a project from concept to delivery.

This role will require strong leadership skills and a positive, proactive outlook to motivate and manage a compact team of regeneration professionals to deliver the vision for the borough.
