Interim Director of Regeneration

A  Council in the South East are seeking an interim Director of Regeneration to provide strategic leadership to the delivery of services, ensuring the provision of high quality support to people living in, visiting and working in the Borough. To work as a member of the senior leadership team to set the strategic direction of the Council and lead collaborations with partners to deliver services for the best outcomes for the residents. Accountability's will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsibility for all duties undertaken by the service leads for Regeneration, leading all strategic vision in this area, working to deliver a strong cohesive plan in accordance with the overarching 5 year plan.
  • To work as part of the Council’s corporate leadership team to set its strategic direction, manage change and ensure that services and partnerships focus on overall outcomes for service users, deliver in line with the Council’s vision and priorities as well as reflecting statutory requirements and local needs.
  • Act as the Council’s principal policy advisor for the relevant functions. Support the Council’s democratic decision making process so that policies are agreed and implemented.
  • Adhere to statute and legislation as Director, with responsibility for oversight of the department to adhere to all relevant legislative and governance requirements.

This role is inside IR35 c£600 for 5 months.  The closing date is the 1st August 2019.
