An organisation based in London is seeking a Head of Development on a day rate of £750 (Inside IR35) for a period of 5-6 months.

The Head of Development is accountable for the delivery of all development projects in the Small Sites team.  The scope of the team is covered by RIBA work stages 0-3: from site identification, through all aspects of the preliminary design and town planning process, leading to a comprehensive handover to the Construction Team

Experience

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record at a senior level in the development industry.  They will have a history of delivering high profile, complex development projects to time, cost, and quality standards, whilst ensuring that developments complied with regulatory and other statutory obligations.
  • They will have significant experience managing a range of stakeholder relationships – internal clients, development boards, developers and other partners.  They will have led on effective consultation and communication strategies on a range of development schemes.
  • They will have delivered a programme of development projects, including the day-to-day planning, supervision, direction and monitoring of staff and consultants, ensuring that projects are delivered in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner, whilst achieving project targets and meeting customer expectations.
