Development Manager

The Development Manager (Estate Regeneration) will lead development on specific schemes within the Council’s estate regeneration programme.   The Manager will be specifically responsible for project management delivery of a number of projects that include coordination of land assembly, scheme development, and delivery of community facilities to ensure wider regeneration and socio-economic development outcomes including leading on the delivery of the apprenticeship and training opportunities.  Additionally the role will lend expertise to generate new business, develop LBE development pipeline across the Borough and the delivery of future estate regeneration projects and programmes.  Duties will Include but not be limited to:

  • Lead scheme development of various estate regeneration projects to include procurement of professional and technical services and resources to deliver the project within timescales.
  • Deliver project and performance management activities, including, project plan, business case documentation, risk management and budget planning and monitoring on a monthly basis.  Produce reports in accordance with corporate performance management requirements.
  • Monitor and control budget expenditure relating to scheme development and delivery, in line with corporate financial regulations.

The role is for 6 months inside IR35 and the day rate is dependent on experience.  The closing date is Wednesday 30th January 2019 at 12pm.
