Head of Hard Services
A London Borough are seeking a Head of Hard Services for an 12 Month FTC to help with the formation of in house FM service Team. In this position you will provide a comprehensive Hard Services maintenance and project management support service to the Council's property portfolio, with responsibility for efficient operation of the Councils properties. The role will require a proactive and practical hands on approach to the requirements of this role, this will involve both office based works and inspection of the council's facilities and sites on a regular basis.The role includes responsibility for managing all aspects of both pre programmed and reactive maintenance of existing and future Hard Services (Building Services and Building Fabric) installations in accordance with good industry standards associated with statutory compliance legislation and the management of the efficient operation of the facilities. Duties will include:
- Undertaking the line management of the Hard Services team personnel, setting time bound objectives and providing advice and mentoring as appropriate.
- Identifying and developing, in conjunction with the Assistant Director Property and Facilities, a strategy for the transfer of the existing outsourced Hard Services management contract to a new service model.
- Financial management of resources allocated for Hard Services.
The role is £55k - £60k FTC for 12 months and the the closing date is 6th January 2019
