Role: Interim Director of Estates and Facilities

Days: 4-5 per week with 4 on-site, midlands

Start: ASAP

Length of Contract: c. 6 months

The Role

Our client, a leading University in the Midlands are recruiting for an Interim Director of Estates and Facilities for a six-month period in the first instance.

In this role you will be managing a small team and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.  There are currently several projects in train and planned which you will be involved with and will require your leadership and the ability to convene people. You will diagnose and evaluate longer term maintenance, asset register and strategy for infrastructure in preparation for the new permanent incumbent.

To be considered, you will be a strong people manager with demonstrable experience at a senior level in Estates and Facilities, with the experience and ability to promote an inclusive and engaging culture. You will have a strategic mindset,  skilled at identifying business process redesign and improvement. You will be required to have energy management experience and agricultural experience will be advantageous.
