Hyde is one of the UK’s leading and award-winning providers of affordable housing, owning or managing 50,000 homes in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, the East of England and the East Midlands.

Hyde’s rich history is one that we are proud of. Whilst remaining true to our heritage, our focus is now firmly on the future, and we are excited and inspired about what this holds for our customers, Hyde and the social housing sector. When we launched our 30-year strategy in April 2020, we put a stake in the ground: we want to create a truly customer-driven organisation where we provide modern, energy-efficient and safe homes that meet people’s needs in the long term. Our strategy is about recognising the role we can play in improving people’s life chances and creating social value for individuals, communities, and society as a whole. To realise our ambitions, adopt new ways of working and financing which is driven by our vision to provide a great home for everyone.

Alongside a key appointment of Chair of our Group Investment Committee, we are also looking to appoint trustees to our own charitable trust, The Hyde Charitable Trust.  Our Trust is keen to instil a different way in which our grant is utilised and how we can best invest in our communities. We would like our new Trustees to reflect the communities we serve, and we encourage applications from the broadest possible range of backgrounds and perspectives. These are unremunerated roles and as a Trustee of the Hyde Charitable Trust you will support our aim of making positive change for our communities, investing in our residents and removing barriers to social mobility.
