At The Calico Group we provide quality services that make a real difference to people’s lives. Our innovative charities and businesses work together to create social profit, with each part of the Group having its own specialism and expertise to ensure that we provide a wide range of high-quality services including housing, healthcare, support, employability and construction.

We are now looking to appoint a new Managing Director to lead Calico Homes. Owning and managing circa 5,100 homes in Lancashire, at Calico Homes we are determined to make a significant difference to our customers’ quality of life, as well as positively impacting the wider communities in which we work. We provide accommodation for families, individuals and older people, plus supported housing and services for homeless people.

Our new Managing Director will be an authentic leader who will lead our ambitious Customer Strategy, building collaborative and caring relationships between customers, colleagues and our diverse communities. Accountable to the Homes Board, and reporting to the Group Deputy Chief Executive, this role will have significant influence by leading the largest business in our Group and contributing to Group-wide decision making.

This is a career enhancing and critically important leadership role where you can help us achieve maximum social impact. With extensive experience of leading housing services, you’ll bring to us your expertise in enhancing the customer journey, digital transformation and developing a values-led culture where innovation and high levels of customer and colleague engagement can thrive. The ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships and effective partnerships is also critically important as we continue to invest in our homes and services, improve our environment, and help to create brighter futures for everyone.
